In Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, the League of Women Voters has been helping citizens engage in local, state of Tennessee, and national government since 1957.
The League encourages informed and active participation in government. We study and take positions on issues, but we never support or oppose any candidate, party or political appointee. We have a strong commitment to voter education, action and advocacy for public policy.
